Dr. Hany Asham, MD, FRCSC
Orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in primary hip and knee replacement.
Dr. Asham completed his medical degree at Cairo University in Egypt, followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Alberta. He then completed a fellowship in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Asham joined Southern Orthopaedics at the C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre in 2016. He holds an appointment with the University of Manitoba and is active in teaching medical students and residents. He is also a member of the Canadian Arthroplasty Society (CAS), Manitoba Orthopaedic Society Executive (MOSE), and Canadian Orthopaedic Association (COA).
