Dr. Jacalyn Thoren, MB, BCh, BAO, FRCSC
Orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in hip and knee replacement, as well as foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Thoren completed her medical degree at the University of Dublin in Ireland, followed by an orthopaedic residency at Western University in London, Ontario. She then completed an arthroplasty fellowship at the University of Toronto, sports medicine and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Manitoba, and a foot and ankle fellowship at the University of Manitoba.
She started her practice at C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre in 2021. Dr. Thoren holds an appointment with the University of Manitoba and is active in teaching residents and medical students. She is a member of the Canadian Arthroplasty Society (CAS), the Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (COFAS), and the Canadian Orthopaedic Association (COA).
