Position Overview
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Patient Services Manager leads a team of Patient Services Leaders who oversee day-to-day work carried out by staff in each of our medical reception areas, Information Desk and Urgent Care. Patient Services includes patient intake, scheduling, and overall customer service within the clinic.
The Patient Services Manager will act as a liaison between patients, physicians, allied healthcare providers, and administrative teams to ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
This position is minimum .67 FTE/24 hours per week, negotiable up to 1.0 FTE/40 hours per week. Work hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Occasional work outside of regular clinic hours may be required. The Patient Services Manager will work in person at the C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre, located in Winkler Manitoba.

Skills and Experience you will bring to the Role
- 3-5 years of experience managing staff working in customer services or administrative roles. Preference will be given to those who have managed staff in a healthcare setting.
- Strong human resource, team leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff throughout all phases of the HR life cycle.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals.
- In-depth understanding of patient services functions, healthcare regulations, and insurance processess.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Degree or certificate in healthcare administration, human resources, business management, or a related field is preferred.
