Anemia – Pregnant women can develop low iron, to treat this you may need to take iron supplements. Your provider will monitor your blood counts throughout your pregnancy.

High Blood Pressure – a condition that can develop in pregnancy, it can progress to a more severe form known as pre-eclampsia. This is why your provider checks your blood pressure at each prenatal visit. Should you develop any of these symtpoms you need to seek medical attention.
